As I shared on Monday, today would have been José's 62nd birthday. In his memory, and in fulfillment of his final wishes, today we kick-off an online auction of most of the art he created and collected in his lifetime. The goals of the online auction are to:
And at the encouragement of several of you, to also provide a bit of financial support to me in my own recovery. Most importantly, my hope is that as his art makes its way to friends and family far and wide, that it brings a bit of joy and serves as a cherished memento and reminder of José to each recipient. If you happen to log on to the site today, please be aware that we are STILL ADDING ITEMS to the auction and that will likely continue through early next week. Link to the auction site: 32auctions.com/joselegacy If you have any questions about the auction, how the proceeds will be used, or any of the items listed please don't hesitate to reach out. And of course, your help spreading the word to others who knew and loved José is greatly appreciated. in gratitude, |
Team José initially served as a way for José and Jen to keep friends and family updated while also advocating for others living with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Also sharing a reminder that the online auction that was initially planned for May...

Thank you for sharing your stories and remembrances, for making time, and for your presence. Big thanks to José's children and siblings for honoring his final wishes and for all the planning and legwork. We are also incredibly grateful to Central Florida...
